Pizza Garden at Jacaranda Hotel Nairobi is more versatile than its name first suggests. Pizza is central to the identity, but the official menu also has breakfast, Kenyan grills, steaks, fish, vegetarian dishes and a children’s section. Its Woodvale Close location in Westlands makes it a useful venue to consider for an office lunch, a family gathering or a casual evening organised around food and sport.

The restaurant page and its linked Pizza Garden menu were checked on 26 October 2026. The PDF does not display a clear revision date, so the amounts below are the published document’s reference prices. It states that VAT, service charge and government catering levy are included. The photograph here shows Pizza Garden’s actual outdoor tables and umbrellas from the official hotel website.

The setting and the different ways to use it

Jacaranda describes thin-crust pizzas prepared in a clay oven, with guests able to watch the preparation. Its venue page also identifies a café, garden-and-terrace seating and a bar with large television screens and projection facilities for sport. Those are distinct reasons to choose a table: a quiet coffee conversation is a different plan from gathering around a televised match.

The same official page advertises live entertainment on Fridays and a dedicated children’s play area. It also says free parking is available on the hotel side. These are published facilities and programme descriptions, rather than evidence of a particular performer or sporting fixture on a future date. The hotel’s listed contact is 0711089000, with Woodvale Close off Waiyaki Way as the Nairobi address.

Pizza prices and toppings

Margherita is KSh1,100, with tomato sauce, mozzarella and basil. Chicken barbecue and beef barbecue pizzas are each KSh1,300. The chicken version includes sweetcorn and green capsicum, while the beef version is described with beef cubes and barbecue sauce. Matching prices therefore do not mean identical toppings.

Quattro Stagioni is KSh1,300 and includes ham, mushrooms, artichokes and olives. Funghi is KSh1,300, while Hawaiian is KSh1,400 and pepperoni KSh1,500. The Indiana vegetarian pizza is KSh1,300, described with green chillies, cherry tomatoes, croquettes, green pepper and mushrooms. That gives a diner another vegetarian route beyond a plain cheese-and-tomato choice.

Extra toppings are printed at KSh250, with options including artichokes, olives, mushrooms, cheese, chicken and beef. A Margherita plus one such addition would therefore be KSh1,350 in the document. Pizza diameter is not specified on the page, so those prices should not be converted into a promised number of people per pizza.

A breakfast option before the pizza oven becomes the focus

The English breakfast combination is KSh1,500. Its description includes two fried eggs or an omelette, bacon, two sausages, grilled tomatoes, baked beans and buttered greens, with bread or a giant croissant and coffee or tea. That is an actual named combination, unlike a total assembled from unrelated breakfast additions.

The breakfast stuffed jumbo croissant options are KSh750 and include tea or coffee with salad. Listed fillings include scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs with cheese and scrambled eggs with bacon. The document also prints KSh250 for each extra. The menu therefore supports a shorter breakfast order as well as the fuller combination without requiring a diner to invent a package.

Kenyan grills and shared orders

The charcoal-grill section prices goat ribs, front leg and hind leg at KSh2,900 per kilogram. Full chicken choma is KSh2,900 and half KSh1,500. For wet-fried, dry-fried or boiled orders, beef is KSh1,900 for half a kilogram or KSh3,600 for one kilogram. Goat in those preparations is KSh1,450 for half a kilogram or KSh2,900 for one kilogram.

Kienyeji chicken is listed separately at KSh2,000 for half or KSh3,500 for a full chicken. That difference is useful: chicken choma and the local-chicken section are not one universal price line. Half-kilo beef liver is KSh1,800, while the gizzard line is explicitly qualified by seasonality in the document.

The mixed grill platter for two is KSh2,600 and combines rump steak, goat cutlets, pork chops, chicken drumsticks and a pork-or-beef sausage option. Dividing its price gives KSh1,300 per person for that stated two-person order, before drinks or extra sides. It is a much more specific comparison than describing all of the grill section as a fixed group feast.

Steaks, fish and vegetarian alternatives

The steak list gives both weights and prices: 350g sirloin at KSh2,600, 350g rib-eye at KSh2,900, 200g beef fillet at KSh2,200 and 350g T-bone at KSh2,700. The bone-in T-bone should not be treated as the same amount of boneless meat as a fillet. Sauce choices include rosemary-and-thyme, black pepper and mushroom in the printed section.

Fish options include tilapia fillet and pan-fried red snapper fillet at KSh2,700 each, whole Victoria tilapia at KSh1,800 and fish-and-chips or fish fingers at KSh1,500. The king-fish or barracuda dish is KSh2,000. Those are different cuts and preparations rather than a single fish price.

Dal tahka and aloo gobi masala are KSh850 each, both described with steamed rice. Vegetable burger is KSh1,000, compared with KSh1,200 for beef or chicken burger. The pasta section includes Napolitano at KSh1,200 and mushroom pasta at KSh1,300. These alternatives help a mixed-preference group choose from the same venue without everyone ordering pizza or grilled meat.

Children, dessert and a relaxed occasion

The children’s menu lists chicken nuggets at KSh600, a Toto burger at KSh750 and plain fries with coleslaw at KSh400. Two sausages with coleslaw are KSh200 in that published section. Keep those children’s orders distinct from adult burgers and the larger snack dishes when comparing the amounts.

For dessert, baked cheesecake is KSh750, chocolate sundae KSh700 and banana-and-vanilla sundae KSh450. House coffee is KSh350 and cappuccino KSh450. A garden lunch can therefore finish with coffee without becoming a separate formal dining plan.

For the outdoor seating shown in the official image, a practical shoulder bag and comfortable daytime outfit fit a relaxed meal. A Friday dinner can be dressed up with a small clutch or a clear jewellery detail. Browse Moyo Lane’s accessories for your own occasion, then choose the food format that suits the table: pizza, a shared grill, breakfast or individual mains.
